After playing two new venues over the weekend it was nice to head back to The White Owl. I love to play new venues, but just as much there is something wonderful about returning to venues.
The White Owl is set in Thurstaston on the Wirral, with fields of rapeseed rolling off into the distance. Around half a mile from where the River Dee becomes the Irish Sea.
Having played the White Owl a few times before means it’s like playing in my own living room now, whilst a mix of strangers and friends chill out with great food and drink. There is no feeling like seeing someone singing along with one of your own songs.
I can’t wait to head back there on the 2nd June, so make sure you’re there. Book a table, have your Sunday Lunch and then kick back and let the music commence.
