Sunday 1st Septmeber – The Salty Dog, Northwich.
I had a lovely Sunday evening show in Northwich, John Jenkins joined me and opened up the night. The Salty Dog is one of the coolest venues, they have a massively varied range of musical acts on, they have movie nights and other such things.
I had some time off, to catch up on Admin and sleep….yeah right. Kids back to school, my youngest child now starting school.
Friday 13th September – The Red Lion, Winsford. Unlucky for some, not for me. I know I keep saying this, but I keep finding venues where people appreciate the artist on stage, performing. I feel so lucky, to be able to stand on these stages.
Saturday 14th September – The Old School BBQ Bus, Oldham. A yellow, American school Bus converted in to a kitchen, Hay Bales to sit on, a great selection of ales, whisky and gin, plus food to die for. YUM YUMMITY YUM. This was my second visit to the place and each time I come back it’s improved. I saw on facebook that it’s having a bit of an overhaul to make more room for y’all to visit.
Thursday 19th September – Sams Chop House Open Mic, brings you another installment of Joe McAdams and his handpicked nights. There is a reason you play at Joe’s nights. You just need to visit one
Saturday 21st September – The Paul Savage Music Marathon. This is a busy night for me, I performed, I was also the sound guy for the whole night. Plus we recorded some of the songs from the acts on the night.
The Paul Savage Music Marathon was set up by one of the best friends I could hope for, Dave Cannon. He puts so much effort in to organising it, getting great raffle prizes. I’m happy to help out by setting up my pa and doing the sound. I won a few good prizes from the raffle too. Each year it gets better and better.
