Gareth’s second single, Billy’s Girl was release in March 2018. The song is a tribute to his nan, Sylvia, who passed away earlier that year. The song was originally wrote as a way for him to get through the first days of her passing. Lyrics just flowing out.
Gareth wanted to remember her love for my grandad, Billy and the life they shared together. Everyone called him Billy, even his grandkids and even though he passed away over 20 years earlier, Sylvia never wanted anyone else.
The song was recorded and played at her funeral, shortly after, and, is a song now played at family gatherings as a way for use to have a cry for those we miss, but ultimately remember them with love.

Lyrics:
Born of heart, lived of soul
Simpler times, tales be told
Met as girl, a man stood proud
A Soldier saw you, through the crowd
Days flew by, Love did bloom
Like flowers on a sunny afternoon
Billy held you, made you his world
You became Billy’s Girl
Sylvia, you were the one
Made to be Billy’s Girl
When all the years have gone
You will always be, Billy’s Girl
Billy’s Girl
Married Smiling, side by side
Swept with love, just like the time
Children came to your lives
You’d never change those happy times
Sylvia, you were the one
Made to be Billy’s Girl
When all the years have gone
You will always be, Billy’s Girl
Billy’s Girl
Though Billy passed, you never were alone
For your hearts, always beat as one
No one else could ever fill that place
You’d never want another mans embrace
Sylvia, you were the one
Made to be Billy’s Girl
When all the years have gone
You will always be, Billy’s Girl
Billy’s Girl
Time came to reunite
Billy called you to the light
Took his hand, to that world
Where you will always be, Billy’s Girl
Where you will always be
Billy’s Girl
